The white willow tea, is an anti-inflammatory tea, made from the white willow tree that is native to central and southern Europe. The tree itself is tall and massive with leaves that look like little warrior spears. Catkin is the tree’s version of yellow flowers without petals.
The tea’s herbal anti-inflammatory salicylic acid has been identified in blends to help with arthritis, bursitis, lumbago, neuralgia, and rheumatism.
For inflammatory skin conditions, the tea’s natural healing properties works well to reduce any inflammation. Healing properties like its vitamins A, C and zinc nutrients, allows it to be highly effective.
Other than inflammatory uses, the tree’s bark has been used to improve recovery times from devastating diseases. Its’ been used to bolster the digestive organs and treat dyspepsia.
However, if you choose to drink tea, whether tea bag, or dried leaves, you’ll find a bitter taste of healing goodness circulating through your body, like an armored guard of protection.
