Dr. Abernathy: I can assure you Lady Edwards, that I’ve met people from all walks of life who have come down with the same condition as you. It’s not an unusual thing. Blackheads are small plugs of darkened sebum and dead skin cells that fill up a pore of the skin especially on the face area. Oil gland ducts become plugged with partially dried oil mixed that contains some dust or dirt. Digestion, constipation, or under active thyroid and anemia are causes that contribute to blackheads.

Lady Edwards: Is there anything you can do for it doctor? I can’t bear to look at myself in the mirror anymore.

Dr. Abernathy: Yes, I can recommend a few lifestyle remedies for you that can help. Let’s go over them now:

  1. BLACKHEAD REMOVER – Use a blackhead remover to squeeze out the blackhead. Removers can be purchased right here at the clinic. Refrain from attempting to squeeze blackheads out via your fingers.
  2. SUNLIGHT – Can and will kill the surface bacteria, eventually clearing the skin. However! That positive can sometimes backfire in having the sun stimulate the oil glands, feasibly making the condition much worse after.
  3. DIET – Stay away from fat, greasy, or fried foods. The same goes for ice cream, cream, butter, margarine, chocolate, pastry, sweets, or much starchy food. What you should eat are vegetables (except corn). Nuts and legumes (moderately). Include in your dietary plan, minerals, and vitamins (including vitamin A).
  4. ADDITIONAL LIFESTYLE CHANGE – No alcohol, tobacco, coffee, or cocoa must be used. Keep the bowels accessible. Have a good night’s rest. Engage in outdoor exercise but avoid the types of exercises that cause perspiration. On the face area, avoid using any creams, oils, or ointments. Practice washing your hair at least 2 to 3 times a week.

Lady Edwards: That’s a lot to ask doctor, don’t you have some kind of elixir or something I can just take?

Dr. Abernathy: Hahahahaha……….no Lady Edwards, I don’t have an elixir that I can give you. I promise, just put into action some or all the recommendations we went over, and you’ll start seeing results. Now let’s go have the nurse give you a list of the remedies, okay?

Lady Edwards: Fine doctor! I’ll try them, and I’ll start with the blackhead remover today, these things have kept me in state of depression long enough.
