CAUSES DICTIONARY
Bruises are caused by physical injury. Certain underlying conditions may allow for bruising to be more commonplace.
NATURAL REMEDIES
LIFESTYLE SOLUTIONS:
- BROMELAIN – Take 150 to 400 mg, 3 times daily via an empty stomach, to treat the bruise and swelling.
- ICE PACK – Place one immediately on the bruise spot where the injury most recently occurred. Keep the ice pack on the bruise area for 30 minutes. The sooner you can place that ice pack on the injured area, the more effective it will be in keeping the swelling down. The swelling most times does more damage than the bruise itself.
- POULTICE 1 – Utilize your “greens”, whether fresh or dry as a suitable remedy. Collect oatmeal, wheat bran, comfrey, or charcoal. Implement by grinding the charcoal, bind it in a cloth, make wet in warm water, and put it over the bruise for several hours. Repeat until the affected area is improved.
- POULTICE 2 – Utilize 4 parts each of “slippery elm” powder and “wild indigo” powder, 2 parts “myrrh gum” and 1 part “prickly ash” powder.
- POULTICE 3 – Utilize a wet brown paper, by dipping it in “blackstrap molasses” and covering the bruise with it.
- POULTICE 4 PLUS – Utilize bread blended with water or milk. Utilize a paste of arrowroot and water or even cornstarch plus castor oil. Utilize some boiled “slippery elm bark”. Utilize some grated raw cabbage and do utilize chopped boiled onion. Finally, you can utilize potatoes.
- VITAMINS – Vitamin C can be taken in amounts of 2,000 mg. Bioflavonoids can be taken in amounts of 100 mg. Vitamin E is 400 IU, and Selenium in amount of 500 mcg. Last, but not least, is Zinc, in 30 mg.
